What is STEAM?
STEAM Team is a precursory opportunity for students in the fourth and fifth grades to help them develop an interest in STEM + Art subjects before they reach high school. Built on passion and hard work, the programs are taught by a team of high school students in the form of lessons that run once every two weeks. There are 3 high school teachers per class, with about 10 students per class. STEAM Team’s programs are for everyone, as we believe every student deserves the right to a quality education that encourages curiosity and growth. On a more personal level, we want to train kids to be independent in their careers as students and take charge of their own learning - we teach them to ask questions and get the most out of their own education by fostering a love for learning through STEAM subjects. |

We believe in empowering the next generation through education. Through opportunities.

So how does it work?
STEAM Team and its volunteers from Mountain View High School and Los Altos High School carefully craft curriculum designed to expose kids to a variety of scientific and artistic fields while peaking their interest through hands-on activities. Through running our previous online programs, we have developed the methods to deliver the best possible remote STEM and art experience to your child! |
